If the lock cylinder does not rotate and it seems as if yours does not i am sure you thought of using some silicon spray.
Transit connect doors wont lock.
The doors will lock.
Sliding door lock not opening.
Then you rotate the door lock cylinder clockwise not the key.
I bought new remote key fob on ebay and it did work properly on my ford transit lwb 2003.
Have you checked the vehicle s manual for this.
Interior lights and door ajar light required extra slamming of drivers door to go out for several weeks.

The doors locks will lock unlock 3 turn the key to off.

The power door lock actuator is the part of the power door lock system that actually controls the locks.
This means that the fob will lock and unlock all the passenger doors and i have to manually unlock and lock the drivers doors.
Leave key in the on position 2 program the fobs by pressing any key on the fob.
When the actuator gets the signal from the power door lock switch a small motor turns the gears.
Then lock it all up as normal.
I have a ford transit van and the back doors wont lock at all but the front doors do.
Now will not respond to even a hard door slam and vehicle with 8 000 in stock and parts is not lockable.
