Instead of building a conventional flat ceiling with a void above fit insulation within the pitched roof structure to create this feature. Another type of roof insulation is spray foam insulation although. It is more expensive though. The design is quite standard the extension is an l shape single storey rear and side with a few small velux windows in the roof. Mono and vaulted mono trusses are only sloped in one direction.
